Did you know that September is “Be Kind to Editors Month”? As most of our staff members have been editors for several years, we’re used to being labeled as anal and nitpicky. In addition, we rarely receive the praise we deserve for the difficult work we do on a daily basis.
But the best writers place great value on quality editing and proofreading services. They understand that many people view their writing as a gauge of their intelligence and/or expertise, and professional editing services can help them project and maintain a professional image.
Take time this month to let your editor know how much you appreciate his or her keen eye for detail. We really don’t mind letting you take all the credit while we work diligently in the background!

Our Operating Hours Have Changed August 16, 2010

The new hours for The Writing Docs Editing & Proofreading Service are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. This change will not adversely affect the current turnaround times for editing and proofreading orders.
In light of an analysis of our order volume, we have determined that this change will generate savings, increase our editors’ productivity, and allow us to greatly improve our ability to efficiently assist you with your editing and proofreading needs.
We appreciate your patience and understanding concerning this necessary change.
